Unicamp for UCLA’s Community Schools
Last month, 101 students from both the UCLA Community School and Mann UCLA Community School attended UCLA Unicamp in the San Bernardino Mountains. During the weeklong retreat, students from grades 6-9 were immersed in an outdoors experience during which they enjoyed recreational activities such as archery, mountain biking and arts and crafts. Alongside dedicated counselors, students enjoyed a variety of camp activities including campfires and talent shows. One student shared that their highlight was “trying new things and eating a lot of food!”
