This commentary, written by six UCLA Community School students, outlines a student-led research project about experiences of schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic. The students’ project was integral in shaping UCLA CS teachers’ and administrators’ understanding of students’ needs specific to the pandemic and helped guide improvement efforts.
