STUDY TOURS

What is a Study Tour?

Study tours are a tool to share knowledge and research and to learn from practitioners, and we are grateful to be able to offer study tours at no cost to visitors. We host quarterly visits to UCLA’s Community Schools at both Mann and RFK. Visitors can expect to receive a Principal’s welcome, hear from educators and students as well as tour the historic campuses in Koreatown and South Los Angeles.

Why Do We Host Study Tours?

As a lead transformational assistance partner for California’s Community Schools Partnership Program, and as a regional training center in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s Netter Center, we seek to advance the University-assisted Community Schools movement. By hosting a number of study-tours at both partnership sites, we center community-based knowledge and learning to support lasting partnerships.

When Can I Attend a Study Tour?

We offer several study tours throughout the school year. Each study tour has a specific focus and audience. Please see details about 2026-2027 study tours below and contact Wendy Salcedo-Fierro at wfierro@g.ucla.edu with  any questions.
