Queena Kim is passionate about community. She lives a mile from the school that she leads and is an active member of her local church and civic organizations. As principal of the UCLA Community School, a K–12 public school in Los Angeles, Kim embraces her role to elevate the strengths of her students, families, teachers, staff, and partners. “We lead from every chair,” is a common refrain.
